genAG 2018

What is genAG?

genAG 2018 is a unique career exploration program for high school students. In groups, students will compete in provincial marketing competitions for a chance to win cash prizes and be profiled on the AITC Canada website and social media!

How does it work?

Student groups will develop and implement a creative marketing idea that promotes ag-sector careers to students in their school.

Groups will create and submit genAG 2018 portfolios that tell the story about their marketing ideas.

The top 3 groups in each province will advance to the Provincial Final.

Being able to use ANY marketing idea you want. The free reign over the project helped to really explore what will grab people's attention.

"It was a unique idea, and one that the students ran with. It was easy to support, and really opened their eyes to agriculture and potential career opportunities."
